We are all led to believe that the Princesses in the Disney films have a happy ever after life. They meet their prince and usually get married and dreams can come true. Well what would happen if things didn’t turn out as expected. Photographer Dina Goldstein has created these amazing images that share a glimpse of what could be!

Ariel – The Little Mermaid.

“I want to be where the people are…”, sadly Ariel is shown here experiencing her dream, but not quite how she expected it to be. The sad vacant stare on her face is a reminder that all the captive creatures we put behind glass could be wishing exactly the same freedom they used to have.

After being named Belle and living up to the name of beauty, she had really been set up to struggle in her later life. How else would Belle achieve that flawless complexion and perfect smile?

Jasmine was always and adventurous princess. Here she has joined the rebel alliance and is fighting for the freedom of her people.

Pocahontas

Pocahontas was one with nature and she embraced every living creature. She even painted with the colours of the wind! Now living her life in a wooden cabin, she watches TV with her large herd of cats. Has the love of nature turned her into that cat woman?

Little Red Riding Hood

Little Red, loved skipping through the woods with a basket of treats for her Grandmother. Well, that basket of treats has turned into snacks and fast food. This has also turned Little Red into a Larger Red!

Rapunzel

A rather sad picture showing Rapunzel with major hair loss. It turned out that the magical flower that gave her the powers could be the cause of her major illness later on her journey.

Sleeping Beauty.

They said that to wake the princess all it took was a single kiss by her true love. The prince has tried and possibly failed. Now aged and in a residential nursing home, the prince still awaits her waking.

Snow White

After getting lost in the wood and cooking and cleaning for seven random vertically challenge fellows, she thought she hit gold with her Prince. Unfortunately behind closed doors when the prince kicks off his boots he was just a lazy man in tights. Sitting watching horse racing while drinking beer and eating chips, he leaves Snow White to look after their four little ones.
